Have you read verse 24 of chapter 31. لقمان in the Holy Quran?

نُمَتِّعُهُم قَليلًا ثُمَّ
نَضطَرُّهُم إِلىٰ عَذابٍ غَليظٍ

English-Sarwar translation

We shall allow them to enjoy themselves for a short while, then force
them into severe torment.
